While experimenting with watercolour pushing the medium to see how far I could take it, I started creating a series of abstractions which I called fragments as these are usually incomplete renderings drawn from pulling images out from the dried watercolour.

Often I use fragments as a way to loosen up my compositions or just to explore movement. I enjoy this type of painting so much that they usually make up a part of any series of paintings I make. Recently, as in Turure I have begun making these fragments even larger and have taken commissions for this type of rendering.
